Before the start of this lesson, I have never heard of the name "Carol Dweck." After watching her video on growth mindset, I have learned more about this topic. She draws attention to that learning should basically allow people to fail and growth from their experiences. I completely agree to this because one failer cannot possibly determine the quality of a person's work. People need to be able to "develop." She also says that people need to be challenged. The challenge of a task leads to this personal development. When it comes to my own habits regarding my education, I completely agree with her teaching. I always take the point of view of that I do not know everything, but my classes are there to help me expand my view of the subject. With that, I am very excited about this lecture because I do not know what is in store for me. I have never read an epic from India before. I want to set the personal goal of being able to grasp what I am reading and apply that to Indian culture and my own.
