1. The Wise and Foolish Merchant
-A Merchant bought goods to sell
-A younger merchant was going to sell the same
-One of the merchants had to travel first
-The foolish merchant went first
-The old merchant thought it was better for the young one to go to create a better path for him
-The demon was going to take the fool merchants water
-The wise merchant comes to save the day and is able to make it to town

2.The King's White Elephant
-The carpenters live near a river and get lumber every day
-They saw an injured elephant
-They helped it
-The elephant would stay and help them
-The elephant's son also helped the carpenters
-The kind bought the elephant

3.Why the Owl Is Not King of the Birds
-Owls vs Crows
-The owl was chosen as the king of the birds
-But the crows didn't like that choice
-They became enemies
-The birds decided to not pick either

I am currently a senior at the University of Oklahoma majoring in International Studies with 3 minors.   Throughout my time at OU, I have had the opportunity to study abroad 2 times. I chose to go to Seoul, South Korea each time. I started learning Korean at a young age, so I was able to adjust to Korean life very fast. During my stay there, I was not only a student, but I also worked at an NGO in marketing to help with North Korean defectors. This experience for me really changed my point of view because I was able to learn about other cultures while learning more about myself.    As soon as I turned 18, I did not know what to do with my life, I always followed what my friends were doing. Week 2 Story: Always the Villain

This pond was special because there was an abundance of fish and wildlife. Among the wildlife, there was a crane. This crane was no ordinary crane, he was lonelier than the rest. Day by day, he would befriend the fish in the pond because of his lack of crane friends. Crane: "Hey guys! How are you today?" The Fish (in unison): "Hey crane! We are good. Do you want to play with us today?" In response, the Crane agreed. He just wanted to have some friends. Being a crane is a lonely life. As time passed, he grew hungry from playing in the water.
