Week 8 Progress

This semester has gone by so fast! Right now, I have missed more assignments than I originally expected to. I currently have 166 points, which puts me at a 'C.' With this being said, I will spend more time focusing on this class. I hope to catch back up and finish with an A by doing all of the extra credit assignments each week. Overall, I have not had any troubles with the assignments. It is just sometimes hard to keep up since I am also studying abroad this semester. I have honestly really enjoyed everything in this class.

For the last half of the semester, I will focus my full attention and effort to finish the semester strong.

I am currently a senior at the University of Oklahoma majoring in International Studies with 3 minors.   Throughout my time at OU, I have had the opportunity to study abroad 2 times. I chose to go to Seoul, South Korea each time. I started learning Korean at a young age, so I was able to adjust to Korean life very fast. During my stay there, I was not only a student, but I also worked at an NGO in marketing to help with North Korean defectors. This experience for me really changed my point of view because I was able to learn about other cultures while learning more about myself.    As soon as I turned 18, I did not know what to do with my life, I always followed what my friends were doing. Week 2 Story: Always the Villain

Notice: This Story will be used in my portfolio this semester.  WEBSITE LINK (Image Taken From Google ) There once was a pond deep in the middle of nowhere. This pond was special because there was an abundance of fish and wildlife. Among the wildlife, there was a crane. This crane was no ordinary crane, he was lonelier than the rest. Day by day, he would befriend the fish in the pond because of his lack of crane friends. Crane: "Hey guys! How are you today?" The Fish (in unison): "Hey crane! We are good. Do you want to play with us today?" In response, the Crane agreed. He just wanted to have some friends. Being a crane is a lonely life. As time passed, he grew hungry from playing in the water.
