This week I will pick a moto that I live by.

I picked to live fearlessly every day because it takes a lot of courage and effort to do something out of the ordinary. So, I must remind myself to live by this.

My Top 3 Readings from Part C from the Public Domain Edition of Ramayana: 1.  The Rainy Season -Sugriva become king -Rama cannot enter the city -The rainy season starts -The king will help Rama find Sita -Rama has a big monolouge   -Sorrow   -He is in distress without Sita   -"Blow back to me her kisses sweet"   -"tortures me incessantly" Overall, Rama cannot fuction without Sita. He has reached a low point in his life. I really enjoyed reading this section of the epic because it makes Rama more relatable. How Much Is Too Much?   Version 1 Once upon a time there was a girl that lived in a small town outside of the city. Generations upon generations of her family came from this town. Each person in her family struggled to make ends meet. They were not educated, nor did they have the option to educate themselves. Because they were not able to get well paid jobs, or any job for that matter, they resorted to selling fruits on the side of the road. This business was not the best to support the girl and her 3 siblings. They were not able to even attend primary school because they needed to work. One day a man noticed them and decided to help. This man was no one special; nobody even knew his name. The man was not a billionaire or a man of the government; he was a simple guy that people did not pay attention to. Title : Seven Secrets of the Goddess Author : Devdutt Pattanaik Year : 2016 Source Chapter 4.1 Durga's Secret and Chapter 4.2 -"Everyone lives in Fear" -Offerings -More than standard offerings, i.e. pieces of cloth -Keep the goddess covered -Dignity and nature -Shiva is to domesticate nature -Kanya has to marry at sunrise to ensure a happy marriage -Shiva cannot make it and the sun rises -She washes her cosmetics away in the sea (that is why there are so many colors in the water) -The goddess is a family member, where god is everyone -Everything comes back, everything ends (it is a cycle) -"what is ego?" --- aham -Aham is how humans understand themselves These videos dived in more depth about Indian mythology and older stories outside of the epics. It was interesting to see the reason for the main river to be multi-colored and that it had a backstory to it.
